The Thermal Route covers a distance of 13.8 km and, at Cassà de la Selva, it connects the Gauge Railway Route II with Via Augusta or Camí Ral, near to the PGA Golf de Catalunya. This route, with its gentle slope, allows us to enjoy amazing landscapes, including farmland, oak woods and the Selvatana Plain, from where we can gaze across the magnificent views of the Guilleries and Montseny Massifs. What's more, the route crosses the urban centre of Caldes de Malavella, where can see how the thermal waters have become an identify symbol of the town, either by visiting the local spas or Roman Baths, or by tasting the water that flows from the springs at a temperature of around 60°C.
The La Muga nature trail was opened in 2012 under the management of the Consell Comarcal de l’Alt Empordà (Alt Empordà County Council). It has now been repaired and has been incorporated into the routes managed by the Girona Greenways Consortium.
It runs through the towns of Castelló d’Empúries, Peralada, Cabanes, Pont de Molins, Boadella d’Empordà i les Escaules, Terrades, Darnius and Sant Llorenç de la Muga.
The route is divided into two main distinct sections with different characteristics: a section of greenway and a section of mountain link.
This section of the intercity greenway connects the city centres of Calonge and Sant Antoni, and Castell-Platja d'Aro. The total length of this route is 3.3 km. At the same time, through urban bike lanes managed by each city council and the current Pirinexus route, the city centres of Castell d'Aro and Sant Feliu de Guíxols (Carrilet greenway) and Palamós ("Little Train" greenway) are also connected.
The section of greenway which will take you from Sant Joan de les Abadesses to La Vall de Bianya or Olot is unfinished. Therefore, we provide an alternate routes: directly to Olot, over the Coll de Sentigosa and Coll de Coubet passes as it follows the old GI-521 highway.

This route connects the Gironès region with the Pla de l'Estany region. There are almost 30 kilometers that, from Girona, cross through the municipalities and towns of Sarrià de Ter, Sant Julià de Ramis, Riudellots de la Creu, Palol de Revardit, Cornellà del Terri, Porqueres, Banyoles and Serinyà.
