Collaboration with the Perpignan Half Marathon

The Girona Greenways Consortium has ventured into a new collaboration with the Perpignan Half Marathon, the “Catalan Challenge”, which offers a pack of 2 marathons in these Catalan speaking areas which are divided by the Pyrenees.

The Girona Greenways marathon offers 4 distances: marathon, half marathon, 30 km and 10 km, setting off from different points and finishing all together in Sant Feliu de Guíxols. It will take place on Sunday 16 February.

The Perpignan 2014 challenge will include a half marathon, a 10 km race, a team challenge called the “Catalan Challenge”, with a combination of the two 21km races. This will be held on Sunday 18 May.

Some hotels and restaurants are also collaborating with the marathons by offering runners special discounts.
